The Bachmanns wanted to give their kitchen a contemporary style without changing the room’s floor plan. Oneida Builders transformed the kitchen’s dated white theme into a rich tapestry of color and texture. New Alder cabinets covered in a butternut stain were installed. A buffet and drink area was incorporated for entertaining, along with an island for casual dining. The countertops are a rich suede brown granite with hints of amber and onyx. The walls were stripped of their wallpaper and painted in neutral colors to let the beauty of the room show through.
